Expanding Reels

Cygnus 2 is played over six reels and four rows. This gives you 4096 betways initially, with wins formed by matching symbols on consecutive reels.

However, each time you land a win, a new row is added to the game for that spin. The maximum number of rows increases up to eight in total, giving you an astronomical 262,144 ways to win.

Avalanche Wins

Whenever you land a win in Cygnus 2, all the symbols involved in the win explode and are cleared from the reels, leaving space for new symbols to drop down from above. In addition, a new row is added, potentially leading to chain reactions.

Wilds

Like in other online slot games, the wild symbol appears at any time and completely at random. It substitutes for all other symbols in the game except for the bonus symbol and multiplier symbols. Thanks to the wild, your chance of landing a win increases.

Multipliers

Multipliers also appear on the reels at random. When they appear on the leftmost reel, they activate the rising multiplier feature. This special scale appears to the left of the reels, and each new multiplier increases how much the win is multiplied by the amount shown on the symbol.

Multipliers can be up to 10x, but the total win multiplier can climb much higher. When multiplier symbols land on the bottom row, they're picked up and dropped down at least one space to the left, increasing the chance they'll become active.

Free Drops

When the bonus symbol lands on the leftmost reel, it activates the exciting free drops bonus round. Here you'll get seven free drops, and the current activate multiplier is carried across.

During this bonus round, the multiplier doesn't reset at the start of each new drop, so it may keep rising if you're lucky enough to land more of those lucrative multiplier symbols.

Each new free drop starts with the current multiplier active and four rows. The avalanche feature and wilds are also still present, so you can potentially look forward to some big chain reactions if you're lucky.

It's also possible to retrigger the free drops bonus. Landing another bonus symbol in the bottom left corner of the reels will give you three extra drops to provide you with even more fun. Like multiplier symbols, the bonus symbol will be picked up and dropped over by at least one reel if it reaches the bottom.
