Stacked Wilds

There a two wild symbols in the Age of the Gods God of Storms slot, and both always appear in a stack of 3. They only land on reels 2, 3 and 4, and they substitute for all other symbols. The Ship Wild is also core to the slot’s big bonus feature.

Wild Wind Respins

This slot is all about the Wild Wind Respins, which combines free respins with increasing multipliers. If a stacked wild lands in full view on any reel, the god blows it one reel along, boosts the multiplier and gives you a respin. This keeps going until the ship is blown off the reels, so if the ship lands on reel 5, you’ll get 4 respins and end up with a 5x multiplier on your last respin.

As it’s a low volatility slot, the feature comes around pretty often, roughly once every 20-25 spins according to the provider. In my latest session playing this game, I triggered the feature almost instantly and again within 10 minutes, so my small sample of experience bears that out.

Age of the Gods Jackpots

Like all slots in the Age of the Gods series, God of Storms is connected to a jackpot network with 4 progressive jackpots. These pots are awarded randomly, and range from the smallest Power pot which was £80 when I played God of Storms, to the Ultimate Power pot which is at least £100,000 and had reached £430,000 when I last played the game. The higher your bet, the better your chances of winning, but that shouldn’t encourage you to bet more than you otherwise would.

My verdict

The first God of Storms slot is a good all-round that has no real chinks in its ancient armour, but frankly any of the God of Storms slot will deliver some decent play. The only question is how often you want your bonus features triggered. If little and often is your bag, then the first Age of the Gods God of Storms online slot is the way to go.
