Well that’s how you launch fair bingo!

If you weren’t at last night’s Drive-in Bingo live event in Manchester’s EventCity, we hope you caught some of the action online. Attended by over 200 lucky PlayOJO customers, the event featured stars Gemma Collins, Mr Motivator and East 17. OJOers who won VIP tickets in our prize draw were greeted as they parked their cars by Mr Motivator, who posed for selfies and warmed our gang up with a high energy workout.

Next up, Gemma Collins made a grand entrance worthy of the TOWIE legend. She took control of the bingo machine and called her first ever bingo games. She did such a fab job, we’ll have her back any time! In true OJO style, all of our car-ticipants had an equal chance of winning, and prize winners filled their car boots with Mr Motivator t-shirts and books, popcorn makers, tablets, smart home gadgets and HD TVs.

With the 200-strong crowd ready to get their groove on, Gemma served up some tasty tunes on the wheels of steel, followed by a set from cult pop group East 17. To paraphrase another 90s pop sensation, there’s no party like an OJO bingo party! Heeyyy hoooo.

Gemma then staked her claim for a judge spot on Strictly in a socially-distanced dance-off. Is there nothing this woman can’t do?! With a stunning array of acrobatics, a local gymnast got the thumbs up from Judge GC and bagged a life-sized cardboard cut-out of Gemma for her efforts!

There was just enough time for some more fair bingo and a few bangers from East 17, and the night ended with an encore from the band, joined by Gemma. Together they sent our guests home with a storming rendition of ‘Woman Trouble’, a classic track penned by band member Robbie Craig.

OJOers joined the party online

We couldn’t squeeze everyone into EventCity but there’s no OJOer left behind, so we made sure many of you followed the fun in our live stream. OJOers also got in on the action with their own fair bingo games throughout the night. The special session, which went down in our exclusive Equaliser Room, featured 3 hours of equal-chance bingo with boosted prizes on the line.

A huge OJO thumbs up to our stars for giving us a fab time, and to all of our guests who brought some serious mojo! Sadly, EventCity is closing its doors forever in the New Year, but at least we gave the much-loved venue a good FAIR-well!
