Collapsing mine

In Fire in the Hole 3, winning combinations are made whenever you land matching symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. Every spin begins with 3 active rows, and the remaining rows are frozen solid. However, landing a win will trigger an avalanche, with the symbols removed from the reels and new ones falling down from above. What’s more, one of the 3 frozen rows will become active and landing consecutive avalanche wins can potentially activate all three rows and 46,656 ways to win. Avalanches can also be activated by xBomb wild explosions, the wild mining feature of the xHole feature.

Wild mining

If between 3 and 6 matching symbols appear vertically or horizontally with no win formed, the wild mining feature will be triggered. The triggering symbols will be removed from the reels, with between 1 and 4 wilds added in their place. Wild symbols will substitute for any other regular symbol.

xBomb wild multiplier

The xBomb wild symbols can appear on the reels at any time, substituting for any other symbols just like a regular wild. However, when it activates a win, it will explode, removing all adjacent symbols except bonus symbols and also increasing the win multiplier for the next avalanche.

Buried features

During the base game, the ice blocks on the bottom three rows may contain buried features such as:

• Wild – This will substitute for any regular symbol to help form wins.

• xSplit – This symbol splits all other symbols present on its reel, doubling the number of symbols and increasing the size of any potential win.

• Win multiplier – Multiplies the current win by up to 100x.

• xHole – Regular symbols are drawn from the reels and scattered to random positions before triggering an avalanche.

Lucky Wagon spins

Landing 3 or more bonus symbols anywhere on the reels triggers the Lucky Wagon spins round. Here, you’ll start out with up to 4 reels and 3 spins. The reels will spin, and each time a coin lands, the number of spins will reset.

An additional row above the reels will reveal coin values and multipliers for each coin value of up to 25x. They can also include special bonus modifiers such as:

• Dynamite – This adds dynamite symbols to the reels, matching the number of dynamite to the value of the triggering coin. Dynamite symbols will remove ice blocks, double coin values and activate chests.

• Dwarf – The persistent dwarf collects all values in the reel it lands above while the evil dwarf triggers a Golden Spin which reactivates the coins on the reels area.

• xHole – Triggers 3 Frozen Wagon spins and transforms into a 1x coin.

• Frozen Wagon spins – The top row above the reels will now only contain coins and all existing coins in the reel area will collect the values from this row and add them to their values. After this feature ends, it returns to the Lucky Wagon spins and the spin count resets to 3.

• Collect chests – These chests can be activated by dynamite and will collect the values of any coins in that reel for each spin.

• Lucky Wagon spins – xHole, dynamite and persistent dynamites can be triggered from ice blocks.

At the end of the feature, the total value of all the coins is collected and paid out.
