During the base game, on any spin, a Red Samurai Wild symbol can land anywhere on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5. It will replace all other symbols, except the Scatter, boosting the potential for landing a winning combination.

Clubs is the lowest prize and Spades is the highest. The contributions to each jackpot level are calculated based on the percentage of your bet (although no amount is taken from your actual bet). The Jackpot Cards feature can activate at the end of any spin, resulting in a random mystery bonus. Once activated, you select from 12 face-down cards until you reveal 3 matching card suit symbols, this awards the corresponding jackpot prize.

For a chance at randomly hitting the Jackpot Cards feature you will need to make a qualifying bet of $0.08 - $1,578.09.

Although I personally never triggered the feature during my gaming session, I do like that it’s possible to win the highest jackpot amount, regardless of the size of your qualifying bet. Also, the jackpots are displayed across the top of the reel set, making it easy to keep track of each prize size as you spin the reels.

Gamble feature

If you win, you can collect the payout or you can gamble your win equal to or less than $26.25 with a 50/50 choice of hearts or spades. To do this, you’ll need to click the 2x directly above the spin button after a win. There are 3 gamble attempts to continue double your winnings, but if you fail any of them, you will lose the full payout and return to the base game.

While you should always keep a watchful eye on your bankroll and set limits, this goes double if you choose to take part in the gamble feature. Always play it safe and play responsibly.

My verdict
