Cash Collect Feature

To trigger the Buffalo Blitz Cash Collect feature, you’ll need to land a Cash Collect symbol on either or both reel 1 or reel 6 and a Coin symbol anywhere on the reels, in the same spin. The feature can be triggered in the base game and during the Free Games features.

Once triggered, the Cash Collect symbol will collect any coins on the reels. There are three possible coins that can land:

• Cash Coin – represents a multiplier (anywhere from 0.5x – 10x the total bet) and awards a cash prize.

• Lightning Coin - awards the Cash Collect Prize— one of the four fixed jackpot prizes: Grand (1,000x), Major (200x), Minor (50x), or Mini (20x). A random prize is awarded.

• Free Games Coin – represented by a +(number) symbol, it awards additional free spins based on the +(number)— Note: The Free Games coin can only be collected during a Free Games feature. If it lands in the base game, nothing happens.

Naturally, I would have liked to have landed the Lightning Coin, but the best I did during my play session was a 5.00 Cash Coin, which was pretty sweet all the same.

Free Games Feature

Land 3 to 6 Scatter (Free Games) symbols anywhere on the reels and you’ll trigger the Free Games feature (the more scatters you land, the more spins you win).

Once this bonus feature is triggered (and I think it’s the best feature of the Playtech Buffalo Blitz Cash Collect slot), this is where the fun starts. You’ll have the option to pick form one of the two following features:

Cash Collect Free Games or Blitz Free Games.

I tried both, and here’s what happens in each:

Cash Collect Free Games

During this Free Games feature, Cash Collect symbols can show up on reels 1 and/or 6, with coin symbols (Cash, Free Games, or Lightning) potentially appearing on reels 2 – 5. Any Cash Collect symbols that appear will remain locked in place throughout the feature and will collect all coin symbols that land on the reels.

Blitz Free Games

The Blitz Free Games are all about the wilds. A Wild randomizer appears above the reels and will assign a random multiplier (2x, 3x, or 5x) to any Wild (diamond symbol) that lands on the reels. If multiple wilds are a part of the same winning way, the multipliers are added.

If 2 or more Scatters land anywhere on the reels during this feature, additional spins are awarded. It’s possible to get up to 30 if you land 6 Scatters on the same spin.

Both Free Games are great, but if I had to choose, I prefer Blitz only because it’s possible to trigger Cash Collect in the base game. That said, the greatest perk of the Buffalo Blitz Cash Collect free spins feature is that regardless of the one you pick (Cash Collect or Blitz), free spins can be triggered indefinitely!

Buy Feature

Don’t want to wait to trigger the Free Games bonus round organically? You can buy the feature outright to instantly activate it.

The price depends on your bet amount and how many free spins you want to buy. For instance, when I played and bet $1, it would have cost me $80 to buy 4 spins, $150 to buy 5, and $200 to buy 6.

Wilds, Nudge, and Power Buffalo Features

Other fun features of the game I think are worth mentioning include:

• Wilds - can appear stacked on the reels.

• Nudge – can trigger only on reel 6 in the base game and can occur if the Cash Collect or Scatter symbol is missed. The reels will shake and increase a chance of triggering the Cash Collect or Free Games feature.

• Power Buffalo – during the base game and Blitz Free Games feature, a Power Buffalo can show up on any random spin and add up to 2 Cash Collect symbols- OR - any number of Cash or Lightning Coin symbols or Wild symbols – OR – 2 Scatter symbols.
